Ankie Kooi (born 1960) is a Dutch artist whose work is based on a deep passion for nature. Inspired by everything that grows and blooms, she often creates abstract, intuitive artworks that capture the connection between people and nature. Her digital art, watercolours and line drawings exude a calm, organic energy. Ankie's work reflects her lifelong love of nature and her ability to translate emotions and ideas into art and digital forms. After a career in healthcare, which was ended by illness, she has fully embraced her creativity. Art is now a way of life for her.
